Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Agentplicity ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you interact with a business that uses our AI receptionist service. We take your privacy seriously and operate this service strictly to deliver the messaging program described in our Mobile Terms of Service.
1. What we collect
When you call or text a business that uses Agentplicity, or provide information during a service interaction, we collect:
- Your phone number
- Your name, if you provide it
- The content of your voice calls and SMS messages with the business (e.g., the service you requested, appointment date and time, address relevant to the service)
- Opt-out preferences you have set with that business
- Standard technical metadata such as message timestamps, delivery status, and call duration
2. How we use it
We use this information solely to deliver the service the business has set up on our platform: answering calls on the business's behalf, booking appointments, sending appointment confirmations and reminders, responding to your inbound messages, following up on missed calls or no-shows, sending occasional seasonal service-care reminders (e.g., annual HVAC tune-up, water-heater flush) if you are an existing customer of that business, and sending post-service review requests.
Each business that uses Agentplicity sees only the data from its own customers. Data is segregated per business; one business cannot see, use, or message customers of another business.
3. What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your information to third parties.
- We do not share your phone number, name, or message content with third parties for their marketing purposes.
- We do not use your information to send marketing messages from anyone other than the specific business you contacted.
- Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
- Information collected by one business on our platform is not used or shared with any other business on our platform.
4. Service providers we use
To transmit voice calls and SMS messages, we use telecommunications providers (currently Twilio, and Textbelt as a temporary backup during an interim registration period). These providers transmit messages on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies and the terms of our agreements with them. We do not share data with marketing partners, analytics brokers, or advertising networks.
5. How to opt out
You can opt out of further SMS from a business at any time by replying STOP to any message from that business. The opt-out is honored immediately for that business and persists for all future campaigns from that business. You can also email support@agentplicity.ai to request removal of your information from our systems entirely.
6. Data retention
We retain conversation history (voice calls and SMS) for the duration of your active service relationship with the business and for a reasonable period afterward to support transactional follow-up, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. You can request deletion of your information by emailing support@agentplicity.ai.
7. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security review. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Our service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, individuals under 13 years of age.
9. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., California under the CCPA, EU/UK residents under GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@agentplicity.ai.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted to this page with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated to active users of the service where reasonably possible.
